Townend Squash Club, founded in 1979 and proudly based in Dreghorn, North Ayrshire, is home to a thriving community of more than 80 active members.
Townend represents Ayrshire in the West of Scotland Leagues, fielding teams across three divisions. Our first team will compete in Division 1 next season, with our other teams pushing for promotion in Divisions 3 and 5.
We are the only dedicated squash club in Ayrshire and operate as a volunteer-run, not-for-profit facility focused on growing the game and supporting our members.
Townend has long been home to top talent, including Scottish internationals Stuart Crawford and Greg Lobban, as well as seven Scottish Masters players.

Townend has long been a home for top talent — from Scottish internationals Stuart Crawford, a five-time Scottish champion and current head coach of England Squash, and Greg Lobban, current Scottish champion and Scottish No.1, to seven Scottish Masters players. Our club has made its mark on squash in Scotland.
Membership is paid monthly. Pay-to-play is not supported. All memberships include unlimited court time per month.

Townend have secured promotion into Division 1 of the West of Scotland Squash Leagues after a superb 2025/26 campaign.
From 13th to 20th April, the courts will be closed for refurbishment. We will return the following week with a fresh new look.
